[svlug] ***** mips ratings ****

MHZ this and GHZ that: does anybody know where i can find real tested
MIP's ratings for the newer processors--alpha,xeon amd etc. MHZ does
not tell me much except how close the wave is and what the price will 
be. also, concerning those slow moving disks and heads--did i just hear 
the que for copper i gigabyte flash chips in 1.8-1.5 micron? Coming
soon to a store near you,-your choice, samsung for cheap or ibm rad hard
for big bucks. start saving $$--randy :)
