Thanks - This works great. Judging from the '-', this looks like the
reason why I have seen some bash processes running with a minus preceding
their names (These are probably the ones that have the paths set up
right). I also notice that when using su -, you can logout like from a
normal shell, but without the -, you are forced to use exit (^D works in
either case :).
Would it be considered safe to set up a bash alias so that su always means
su -?
