Huh?  What do you mean "substitite Cringe"?  I thought he writes and
always wrote his own columns.  Did this switch occur when Rose replaced
Pammy?

I was disappointed when I saw him on TV, all young and yuppie.  I always
pictured him as a middle-aged guy... you know... like Columbo (Peter
Falk).
