hi ya

is anyone using the "bridging feature" of linux' kernel ???
it allows multiple ethernet segments say in multiple buildings
to look like one huge ethernet LAN... ( real handy for not needing
to do subnetting )

otherwise, I suspect we need to get a "real router" and run
cisco's bridging sw on it...runs good... ( not cheap $4-$8k range )

thanx
