you also said it was a NetDeskTop box....I think they are playing games
here....

george....tsk tsk tsk...
hope these are not the 200 of them boxes you were planning on buying

and it's bad....too that the MB does not specify manufacturer & model
and similarly for ram or edo or sdram or etc... and disk too...
as the price can easily be doubled or halved depending on if one
uses cheap verses "real thing"...
and worst of all...what version of linux....hehehehe....

I just bought a k6-2-300 and runs nicely...only after several days/trips to frys:
	- 1st thing is the case was all wacky and non-standard - get new case...ok...
	- 2st buying a wrong mb to replace the dell pentpro-200mz mb...ooopss..booboo...
	- than the k6-2-300 cpu for the board I had good for up to 266Mhz....double oopss...
	- than the sram was only good for 66Mhz(?) that came from the PPro-200...triple opps...
	( bought the el-cheapo pp200 w/ thought of upgrading...did it past weekend )

but now, the new machine humms nicely again...

oh well....to build/upgrade it yourself or buy it prebuilt...
	- always better to build it yourself for "what you want"
		( except don't upgrade a non-standard dell-ppro-200 )
	- always better to buy it prebuilt if you want *cheap* and no time
