hi ya m....

i run netscape-4.xx too on linux-2.0.28 under slackware and tons of um
on rh w/ various kernels.... they all have been initialized and nutuured:
	rm -rf ~my-accts/.netscape/cache
	touch ~my-accts/.netscape/cache
	chmod 400 ~my-accts/.netscape/cache

and a nightly:
	rm ~/.netscape/history.*

so that nightly backups don't do silly things like backing up netscape stuff...

and i reboot netscape a little as linux needs to be rebooted...
except for an occasional hardware problem ( buss error ) that causes
ONLY netscape to hang indefinitely...otherwise netcape is up
for weeks/months at a time...

have fun
alvin
