I have heard that there is 'something' which will plug into your
keyboard and your video out and mux that into a serial line somehow.
I think I saw the ad for it in lj or sysadmin. IIRC, it was sam
ockman who pointed me to the 'something's. I would like to hear of
someone's experience with them, they would really come in handy around
here.
