[svlug] Generic VGA in X

Xconfigurator correctly reports that I have an S3V card and things work
great using the defaults.  However, I need to temporarily switch to
generic VGA mode (in order to run the StarOffice 5.0 install, there is a
problem with S3 cards).  I see no way of selecting an alternative video
card in Xconfigurator, and I'm lost when editing XF86Config file.  Is
there an easy way to switch back and forth?
