Those are _additional_ reasons to have mail be on its own /var
sub-tree.  The reason *I* was pointing to is that the "user"
account it operates under is only a pseudo-user.  _Like "httpd"._

Which was my point.  Which you're doing your utmost to distract 
from and ignore.
