I have been using TCI's @Home service here in Dallas, TX since it came
to the area. I have had two short periods of downtime since I started
(less than 2 hours down, once from a storm where my cable was out
anyway).
If I could go back and do it again, I would not change a thing. I have
been completely satisfied with the service, and the speed is
incredible! Download the latest kernel in less than a minute!

@Home gives me an IP address, and stays out of my way. They don't
block any ports (that I am aware of), and I don't have to use any of
their software. Just ifconfig, route, and I'm on the internet just as
any other ISP.
