Ok,
I'ved asked in a number of places and no-one has a good answer so I'll
harrass the good people of SVLUG now.
At my office I have a Sun Sparc 5 running 2.6 and acting as a NIS slave
server. I have 2 Linux boxes binding to the Sun Box. All the other Sun
boxes bound to it are working fine. The linux boxes can do a ypmatch
and seem to work find. The problem though is if I try to log in on the
console. It says incorrect password. I can rsh in though just fine.
If I try to login on one of the other Sun boxes it lest me. I've verified
the passwd strings between the machines though.
Anyone have any thoughts? I have tried most anything, but will be
willing to try again.
Robert
