Comment, consternation, and success:
1. I've had good luck installing Linux on harddrive and 
then moving harddrive to another PC. It takes a 
little planning, but IS quite usable as a method of 
installation.

2. When dealing with a small hardrive, or a minimal
installation, For me- Slackware is more manageable
than RedHat. (particularly if no X-window is used.)

3. The new Arachne browser (1.43 for DOS <1mb) LOOKS better 
than Netscape 4.05 16bit color does in Linux on same 
hardware. Can anyone explain why that might be?

 The Arachne developer sight (www.naf.cz/arachne) sez arachne 
will run under DOSEMU. (I havn't explored the dos 
emulation yet.) AND,  the Arachne browser is 
being ported to Linux, and it will NOT require X11.

  The Arachne developer is pro-linux.  

   I havn't had this much fun since building a Sinclair ZX81..
