Note that the slowdown can occur 24 hrs after booting or 24 seconds. I can
not reproduce it on demand. Others have reported the problem too but I am
trying to find something common with either the systems that NEVER have
the problem or the ones that do. This one is using IDE disk. 2.1.125 has
never shown the problem and I have beaten it to death. Also, the problem
only seems to happen when little is going on with the system.
