Quite honestly, the higher-ups in Microsoft could learn a lot from you Dan.

Be assured you will not be attacked or ridiculed if you do visit our
meetings, we simply want to convert you.

(It's sort of sad how the executive actions of the leaders of Microsoft
have lead to Microsoft employees fearing being in the same room as their
competitors. It must be quite different trying to evangelize Microsoft
products than it is to evangelize Linux. But then again, what am I talking
about, the ridicule that we Linux supporters still get from ignorant
managers, which have been brain-washed by Microsoft anti-Linux marketing
campaigns, is quite frustrating. Yet, if Linux wasn't such an increadibly
good product, and we supporters didn't so vehemently believe in its
inevitable path to glory, then I imagine Wednesday night could have turned
out quite differently. "We hold these truths to be self evident..." The
parallels to the American Revolution are quite striking. A distant central
power dominating the world; A confederation of like-minded free thinkers
dissatisfied with a remote government; And an open, uncharted, frontier on
which to build a new free civilization. [Microsoft/Open Source
programmers/the Internet] :) )

With that beautiful thought I'll leave you all to celebrate the 225th
anniversary of the Boston Tea Party!
