I'm sorry to say that ELM filter, while convenient and friendly, is
deprecated today: it has buffer overflows which I think were never fixed,
and it has been largely overshadowed by procmail. So now you're supposed
to go and learn procmail, which is considerably harder than filter. See
the man pages for "procmail", "procmailrc", "procmailex", assuming that
you have procmail installed on your system.
The man page for procmailex has a sample recipe included for filtering
out messages directed to a particular list.
