Completely agree.  At Oracle World, the mob around Linus was absolutely
astounding.  I actually felt sorry for him.  

Linus isn't RMS or ESR.  I don't know, but he doesn't appear to be
cultivating any sort of celebrity status.  Probably the kindest thing
we can do is acknowledge his gifts and move on.  

I know I would not enjoy this type of attention.
