    It gets the users involved more deeply in helping fix bugs. 
Relatively open can mean open to those who have signed non-disclosure
agreements, and agreements that any fixes they make, are available to the
corporation for assimilation into the proprietary source.

     It should be noted that IBM made source listings of many of their
operating systems available to their customers back in the 60's and 70's.

    Socialism is often practiced due to the pressure of a bayonette.
