You need to bring your manager to one of our meetings to see how strong
our motivations with stable OS are. And we can back our positions with
live examples and beer.

I'm sure others can come up with machines that run longer than mine
without crashes.

I just rebooted an NT because it failed to copy files to a removable
Syquest cartridge. It totaly locked up, no way to recover. Formatting the
same cartridge is taking over 15 minutes and is at about 20% and not going
anywhere. My Linux prepares the same cartridge in about a minute, and I
can do it remotely, assuming somebody puts the cartridge into the drive.

No need to compare. If the OS is unstable what do you expect from the
apps? To keep it up?

Life is good. And it will get better when Linux takes over. Some people
are doing just that. Congrats go to VA Research and it's team for
attracting the capital for the expansion into world domination. I wish you
guys would make your company shares available to our members aswell. That
way we wouldn't need MS to pay for the pizza.

If all goes well, we are going to port one of our products to Linux soon.
I was bugging people around me long enough :-)

Patience young man and good luck.
