[svlug] M$oft Party: Parking in Palo Alto is a pain!

I just wanted to mention that finding parking in Palo Alto, is like finding
Open Source Software at Comdex. (nearly impossible)

You can get to the party by Train very easily, The Palo Alto station is
like 1 block from the Party (which incidentally is right across the street
from DIGITAL. I'm not entirely sure but I've heard rumors that AltaVista
was developed there, maybe even NT?.

Anyway, as far as parking is concerned.

1.) Between High St. and Emerson Str. (btw: University/Lytton) - 1 block away
2.) Along Alma - 2-5 blocks away
3.) Between Alma and High (btw: University/Hamilton) - 2 blocks
3.) Under City Hall - 4 blocks away
4.) Over-flow: At Stanford Shopping Center (4 blocks line of sight, 6-7
blocks walking.)

If anyone needs a ride from the Redwood City/Menlo Park area, let me know,
3 people would fit in my car.
