[svlug] Boot program

Hi All,

Does anyone know what boot manager  comes with
FreeBSD?  I have a friend who has gotten himself
stuck trying to install FreeBSD and failing to
get his main drive (scsi) partitioned and 
formatted b properly.  Now he
tells me he is having problems getting NT 
re-installed so he can get back to square
one.  Tells me he has reinstalled NT but
the FreeBSD boot manager is still in place.

So - and I've only heard about this system -
what is the smoothest way to remove the 
FreeBSD bootmanager.  And is it the same
code as lilo - which is what I would suspect.?

Another way to ask the same thing is
"what software will re-write the MBR?"

Soon as he learns he can regain control of his
machine, I'll introduce him to Linux.
