[svlug] Help connecting 60 Gig Raid Array

Hi All,

A while ago, we got/made a 60 Gig disk array here. It is one of those
external devices that look like one huge disk drive, and was originally
intended to go on a Solaris sparc machine.

But is is now attached to a virgin SuSE 5.3 system.

So my question is, how to best use it? Can I create a 60Gig ext2 file
system? Do I need to partition it smaller - if so, how much smaller?

If it matters, the scsi controller is an adaptec 2940UW.

Any help will be appreciated, and will help to promote Linux in the
corporate environemt.
