[svlug] Port Forwarding

What do I have to do get port forwarding to work??Is it a possible
function of IP Masq???or do I have to put something else up there like
SSH. I am not too concerned about security on this one. The machine I
want to forward that particular port to is running a VPN solution from
AltaVista. I am already able to connect my AltaVista box to my New
York office one, because I initiate the connection. But there is also
a client piece that I can run on my laptop which must initiate its own
connection. So it must go through the firewall at some point. This is
why I want to forward the port.......hopefully I have made myself
fairly clear.........
 The FW machine is running 2.0.33


 also, a side note, how come it takes soooo long to post to this
 list......when I have posted in the past, it has taken about 4 days
 for my post to reach the list.......
