[svlug] AArrrrgh.... can't rlogin!

Long time lurker, first time poster....

I've loaded RH 5.1 up on 3 boxes here at work, but I can't rlogin into them
remotely.  I can't even have it rlogin into itself.  I did the usual
.rhosts, even hosts.equiv, checked the /etc/hosts.allow and hosts.deny, but
nothing is fishy here.  I can't even rlogin from my SGI and Sun machines...

I get prompted for a password, but it never takes...   what gives?

Is this PAM related? I spent some time looking over the FAQ files on it,
but it would seem that this probably should work then.
