"The powers that be"?  Uhhh... that's too much formality for around here. ;-)

I think you're looking for officers at svlug.org.  That's the list of the
coordinators of the various projects in SVLUG - the people who have the
penguin badges at the SVLUG meetings and events.  (Many thanks to Ada Spade
for hand-making all of the badges!)  So that you know who you're talking
to, you can see who does what at the Officers web page on the SVLUG web site:
   http://www.svlug.org/officers.shtml

You'll probably notice they're all familiar names from the SVLUG mail list.

I hope that this re-introduction (i.e. you already knew us from this list)
removes a bit of the formality.
