[svlug] Linux 2.1.127 kernel released

The Linux 2.1.127 kernel was released today.

Remember, we are in the final stages of testing the 2.1.X kernels - any one
of them now could be pronounced Linux 2.2.0. These kernels appear to be
behaving as well if not better than the "stable" 2.0.X kernels so, if you do
not run a mission-critical system, you are encouraged to help test the 2.1.X
kernels now by running them on as many Linux systems as you have.
(Mission-critical installations typically do not consider switching until
one or two revs after an official OS release, as a matter of policy.)

versions of software packages you need with current 2.1.X kernels:
