hi ya hank

you have the "infamous x11" headache.... from what I've seen at 
the linux installfests  one of the rh-5.0 or h-5.1 X11-SVGA servers
might work on your card....sometimes rh-5.0 works...and not rh-5.1
versions of the SVGA driver...and vice versa...

run XConfigurator and see .... ( try selecting Generic SVGA driver too )
and generic multisync monitors if its not explicitly listed
	- you'd need to be a little patient with the "system"...
	- so go get a beer...you might need it or you might be
	- lucky and it works the first time

than run X -probeonly and see if you get any errors...

thanx finally corss your fingers and do xinit ( if you've defined .xinitrc )
or startx
