It won't be a plugin, but you can certainly spawn it when you click on a
.mov...  I never really understood the point of plugins anyway.

As I mentioned earlier, I'd like to hear about any solutions for playing
recent AVI files (> 3.5) on linux.  Even emulation or conversion programs
would be fine.
