run ldd on it.  Also, possibly your svgalib was compiled for glibc.  Get
svgalib and recompile it for libc5 (or ask me to send you mine)...
I've had eons of library fun with Quake and manually moving from libc5 to
glibc.  That looks like the only issue with squake though.
