What is a good program to use for writing C programs.  I like ae because
it has smooth scrolling.  I need a text editor however that has a
smaller tab stop than ae's (8 characters i think).  4 or 5 char would be
nice.  it also must have smooth scrolling like ae.  And it also must be
like vim where when you press tab and then press enter instead of
putting the curser all the way back to the left side it will bring it
right down below.  This would help emiencly in structuring my source.
This is probably asking a lot but if you know of one that is like this
and is pretty simple ( no ctrl+i type stuff just to input something. )
Please speek up.  It would be even greater if this program was setup for
C so that it could do nifty colors for things like comments and
variables or something.  Rick Moen I guess someone said some time ago
that you wrote emacs.  If you would like to speak for emacs and tell me
what of these things emacs is cappable of doing that would be great.  If
you know of one speek up please.  X or console doesnt matter.
