BTW, if you use the -bs, you will need to add a crontab entry to process
the queue every so often because there is no daemon running, or you can
start a sendmail daemon that does not listen but only runs the queue, your
choice.

Method 1:

In root's crontab

0 * * * * /usr/lib/sendmail -q

OR from the command line,

sendmail -q1h &
