At long last!

Ian, I am so excited that you have posted this.  I live in carrboro, about 5 minutes from where this meeting is being held...  I will definately be there, and will let you know what happens.   Ive been looking for user groups in the triangle, and the closest i have found is the student linux user group at NC State in Raleigh, 30 miles away, www.linux.ncsu.edu, i believe.

Also timely, and i think it was a signal from beyond, is my mac OS pooped out on me; a few months ago, i destoyed my mklinux partition fs =( and just didnt get it working again.  So now, there is no reason not to reinstall linux and dual boot again.  When things start happening, they *really* start happening.

Manning hall, btw, is a *very* nice, new building on campus, which houses the CS department, Sunsite.unc.edu, and their extensive VR research lab.  

Thank you *very* much for posting this.  I'll be there with the spirit of SVLUG behind me! =)
