The newly-forming "TriLUG" will have its first meeting, covering the Research
Triangle Park "RTP" area (Raleigh/Durham, NC) this Thursday. Some notable
Linux supporters in that area include Red Hat, University of North Carolina
(host of sunsite) and Cisco (East Coast headquarters.)
Thanks to Mike Broome of Cisco in Raleigh, NC for forwarding this info.
I have a hunch that pent-up demand in that area could cause TriLUG to
experience rapid growth similar to what SVLUG has seen throughout 1998.

> DIRECTIONS FROM DURHAM/15-501:
>
> - Take 15-501 South, towards Chapel Hill.
> - Take the Franklin St. exit (to the right).
> - Continue into campus.
> - Once you reach downtown (still on Franklin St.), you will get to Columbia St.
> Take a left on Columbia. (This is roundabout but easier to see in the dark.)
> Columbia is the vertical street along the left side of the map below.
> - Take a left onto Cameron Ave.
> - There is some parking available in lots along Cameron.
> (In the map below, Cameron runs horizontally along the top of the picture.
> You are coming in from the west.)
> - You might try the parking lots around Bynum Hall (on your right).
> If they are full, go back west on Cameron and look for other parking lots.
> There is a big one opposite Phillips Hall.
> - If you reach the stoplight at Raleigh St. (the vertical street along the right
> side of the map), you have gone too far!
>
> DIRECTIONS FROM RALEIGH/I-40:
>
> - Take I-40 West.
> - Take Hwy 54 West (Exit 273B), toward Chapel Hill.
> - When you reach UNC Campus, take a right onto Country Club Rd.

> - There is some parking available in lots along Cameron.
> (In the map below, Cameron runs horizontally along the top of the picture.
> You are coming in from the east.)
> - You might try the parking lots around Bynum Hall (on your left).
> - If you go past the Old Well and South Building, you are starting to get
> a bit far away from Manning Hall. At that stage, I'd suggest taking the next
> right (when Phillips Hall is on the left), which leads into a big parking lot.
> - If you reach Columbia St. (the vertical street along the left side of the map),
> you are really getting far away.
