Freedom of speach. If you are telling the truth, or voicing your
personal opinion, it is difficult to win a suit against a person. However,
if you are telling something that is not true, or harming a persons
reputation with an untruth, then it is easier to win against you.

The party that is suing can, of course, be countersued. Meanwhile, you
are paying your lawyer... but if the suit was shown as without merit, your
countersuit has a better chance of winning. Of course, the lawyer will
take most of the money... but... this should keep Fry's, etc. from suing
you just because you said you personally didn't like them or something.

As for me, I find Fry's ok most of the time. Their employees often
seem totaly clueless... but the prices make up for it if YOU have a clue
as to what you are doing. And if not, the return policies take care of
that as long as the thing didn't erupt in flame and smoke. (Though I'l
admit, I once returned a sound card that had destroyed a SIMM module with
the extra tall capacitors, and they wouldn't do anything about the SIMM
module... That kind of ticked me off at Fry's and at the idiot
manufacturer who didn't observe reasonable dimensions! Took me a few hours
to find and fix the damage to the SIMM.)
