Anyone gotten any lock from throwing copyright lawyers at spammers? I
forward all spam offering bootleg software to piracy at microsoft.com,
but haven't gotten any response back other than form mail. (Hear
that, spambots trawling the list archives? I said,
piracy at microsoft.com )

But I got very eager-to-pursue mail back from a Walt Disney Co. lawyer
one time after I sent Disney a spam for non-licensed Disney products
-- you could almost hear the guy drooling. Unfortunately it was weeks
too late and I had to explain to him the concept of a "throwaway
account."

Moving revenge from email to fax is not a good idea. The law
specifically addresses fax. Black pages will burn out the print head
of some thermal fax machines. You wouldn't want to _damage property_,
would you?
