[svlug] Mirroring Techniques?

Looking for an efficient way to mirror an FTP site. One of the major
things that I would like to accomplish is to only get updated or new
files whenever I update the mirror. Currently I am mirroring via. NFS.
I am providing an NFS mirror in addition to the FTP.

Does anything exist to do this before I sit down and write something?
