[svlug] NFS???? and tests

	I have read the flurry of messages about NFS not working. I have
dim recollections of a kernel choice that said "do you want NFS?". I have
not a clue what NFS is, so I always say NO.

	As for the tests, without NFS I did them and mv directories and
all that and it worked fine. I do not see the problem for sure.

	Are you trying to make Linux a big data base? What type, flat or
other? I do understand that a Linux box acting as a server is about to be
replaced because it doesn't work properly. But I am not sure of the
problem...:-)
