Got this from ssc.com's Linux News page:

Robin Miller (of Andover News?) has a "Cheap Computing" column. In this
recent installment, he opines that much of the press is missing the
central issue; that the Linux "movement" is about people, not OSes or
computers. He goes on to mention the usefulness of LUGs (he mentions
the University of Maryland (Baltimore County) LUG specifically).
