[svlug] Linux / NT in the latest InfoWorld

I went through the latest InfoWorld mag ( issue 30) and was amazed about
the number of Linux articles. Basically there were 5 Linux articles,
compared to 7 Microsoft product articles, and 3 Microsoft Anti-trust
articles. 5:7 ratio, wow, that's quite fantastic.
However, in one of the articles there's this guy (Adam Thier) from Lawson
Software in Minneapolis that actually said that he would "violent argue
against putting any enterprise application on Linux" because "There's no
service component to Linux -- you're on your own [if you need fixes]".
I think it's time to lynch him! JUST KIDDING! .. Actually, if someone in
the group could just write him a nice message explaining how there are
plenty of Linux consultants, and support through Linux vendors, plus that
NT not only puts you on your own if you need fixes, but it puts you at the
mercy of Microsoft. We need to correct people's misperceptions.
