Copy is a troublesome program. Permissions are not always correct. Try:
(cd directory; tar cvf - .)|(cd newdir;tar xvf -)
It preserves permissions, dates.

Grab window (app) on the side and drag it down to see the top of it. Can
you resize it from the bottom and pull it down?
Size issue. A virtual screen in X config should help.

Just send IRS after the hard working people. IRS don't burn, just
pillage. Gold is cheap, i.e. not worth pillaging these days. Bank
accounts, soon to be all digital. All your transactions will soon be
monitored (oops, pillaged).
