Hmm. I must not have made myself clear.

I have had _no problems_ running any of the statically-linked Netscape
Navigator/Communicator binaries: pre-1.0, 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, or 4.x.
That's what I _thought_ I made clear, earlier.

What I was saying was that it used to be nice, in days of yore, to
run the Navigator pre-1.0/1.x series with one's Motif libs, and
I was looking forward to doing so again with 4.03 -- but that this
seems to require _antique_ Motif libs, which I do not now own.

Are you saying that Lesstif suffices for the dynamically-linked
Communicator 4.03 binary for Linux, or not? Thanks.

Cheers, For good netiquette,
Rick Moen be wise and choose a four-line
rick (at) hugin.imat.com .sig (haiku is good).
