Isn't "DCOM" what they used to call "Network OLE"?  Gaack!  The thought
of letting that hideous, bloated OLE code loose on a Linux box brings
back images of chthonian horror, from when I worked next to programmers
chained to dank cubicles and compelled to code that stuff.
