[svlug] RedHad can't see Ethernet card

Hi All, 

This is to all of you guys preaching the advantages of Red Hat -
I tried to install 4.2 on a friend's computer, and we can't get
the ethernet card (3com 3c509) to work. What is the secret?

His setup worked fine with Slackware, by the way.
