[Speakers] Linux User/Candidate for Congress

[Tod Landis]

Hello,

Last night I met John Regan at a talk given by
Congresswoman Tauscher in Berkeley. John is an
SVLUG member, and he suggested I contact you.

I have RH 8 on the laptop I use most of the time, a Presario
2800. I switched to Linux about six months ago. I'm interested
in Java development, currently writing a book about
developing Java front-ends for MySQL. I wrote parts of the
Borland JBuilder IDE (version 6) in Java and Borland's ancient
C++ chart making engine for Quattro Pro and Paradox.

I'm also running for Congress in the 14th CD, seeking
the Green Party nomination. My campaign web site is
http://todlandis.com/.

Look forward to meeting you at one of the SVLUG meetings...
