[Speakers] SVLUG: Speaker for July

[Mike Simons]

Steve Traugott,

Hi, I'm Mike Simons (the guy from Dublin, who is VP of the Linux
Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD), and is trying to setup the Linux Picnic
this year).

LUGOD had a booth at the Government Technology Conference last week
and I was circulating around looking for speakers for our LUG meetings.
I ran across someone at Akamai, who claimed to have the largest network
of Linux computers on the planet. He seemed to be interested in
connecting us up with a Tech Person to talk about their system and
use of Linux, but they are based in San Mateo and he seemed to want
a larger audience than the 20-50 we have at meetings... so I suggested
SVLUG might (also) be interested.

I have not contacted him yet, but I would like to get someone to
talk at both SVLUG and LUGOD meetings.

- Is it okay if I try to line them up for a talk at SVLUG...
  or
- Would it be better for me to hand my contact off to someone down
there who will speak for SVLUG?
  or
- Would you like me to cc you on all emails with them?

    Later,
      Mike Simons
