[Smaug] Call for Web site proposals

Ok, find me a server & account where I can put a page, and I'll make
one. Simple xhtml at first. Meeting announcements, links to topics and
other events, general description of the (non-?)organization, photos
of past events.

What was in the recent page is in my mind still.

Some brief prose regarding what SMAUG is all about and its history
would be good. Links regarding membership and admin. would be good - I
had to do a web search to find how to enroll myself from a new email
account the other day.

There may be others with more time, but not the enthusiasm for keeping
SMAUG going in the Santa Cruz area.

It's completely normal that you lose data on "Windows" platforms.
That's why you have a UNIX or Linux or BSD server for backups.
