First Saturday of the month, Felton Fire Station: You know the drill.

We have a very interesting talk coming up at the start of our next
meeting arranged by Bob Lewis.  Please try to be on time.

A talk about the new fiber that UCSC sponsored from Sunnyvale to Santa Cruz.

When a University or other large organization wants to connect to the
Internet, they don't use DSL, cable modems or satellites.

Network engineers Jim Warner and the network ops manager John Haskins
from UCSC will describe how UCSC connects to the Internet and the
state and national networks that have been built for education. Here
is a rather old article authored by Jim Warner for those interested.
