One can't really say yes to that.  I was the last head of SlugLUG.  After
a couple of years away, I decided to let it sink or swim.  The people I
know who were involved are now involved in other things (IEEE mostly),
so it's pretty fair to say that SlugLUG sunk.

Despite that, there's occasional traffic on the list.  Nacho tried to get
an installfest going a while ago, although I don't think anything came of
that.  IIRC, we beat them to having an installfest.

Absolutely go with it.  It is, I think, a better solution than Anthony's
proposition.  Any naysayers speak now or yadda-yadda-yadda.
