For my part, I didn't see anything really wrong with swapping the whole
thing out for Anthony's design.  I concur that in many ways it isn't
really all that different, but given the cost/benefit of:

1) Having a new site design that makes the group look...y'know...active, or
2) Asking Anthony to set aside his work and hack together things that no one
   in the group is particularly attached to,

it seems obvious to me that the right choice is to hand it off to Anthony
and let him own it while he's still motivated ; )

On a side note, I was surprised to not see "lorem ipsum" used ; )
