Looks like SourceForge.net removed the virtual host.  The project is
still there (http://sourceforge.net/projects/smaug-web/), which means
that the contents of the former Web site can be checked out of CVS by
anyone, to re-establish the site anywhere else.

Just about exactly a year ago, I got tired of being the only smaug-web
project admin (currently:  dgatwood, eldeeq, jmhunter, quaid, rickmoen)
who ever bothered to update the HTML.  You may recall I said that others
needed to chip in, and pleaded that they do so.  Unfortunately, they did
not.

Presumably, this mailing list will persist as long as SVLUG keeps it in
operation (which means it has a good prospect for long-term).  It should
be an excellent resource for Santa Cruz area residents wanting to do
more with the group.

It would be a good idea if multiple people would (now, today) check out
the smaug-web HTML from CVS, to reduce the likelihood of David Gatwood's 
good work being unavailable wheneven it is that someone decides to host
it again.
