Dear SCTA Member,

PLEASE JOIN THE SANTA CRUZ TECHNOLOGY ALLIANCE (SCTA) AND TRIBAL
EXCHANGE
FOR AN OPEN SOURCE ROUNDTABLE EVENT

JUNE 12, 2001 6:00pm - 7:30 pm
Location:  S.C. Brewing Co.(formerly the Front Street Pub) , located at
516
Front St., Santa Cruz (429-8838). Admission is $5 at the door.

Participants will include open source experts, including Jordan Hubbard,

director of the FreeBSD Project; Keith Bigelow, senior director of
product
management for Lutris Technologies, the Santa-Cruz-based open source
enterprise software and services company; Steven Beedle, chairman of the

Santa Cruz Alliance and former executive editor of Linux Server
magazine;
and others yet to be announced.

The roundtable discussion is informal, and open to all interested
attendees. Other tables will be
reserved for informal socializing and discussion of other topics.  This
is
the second in a series of events jointly hosted by the SCTA and Tribal
Exchange.

These joint events focus on creating an informal atmosphere for
socializing
and exchanging
news and views about the high-tech industry.
